" Life is short, eat dessert first." I love this line because oftentimes people are so preoccupied with life that they forget to enjoy the adventure. I want people to remember to treat themselves and to prioritize making core memories over anything else since that is what we’ll all remember in our twilight years.

With a BA in Communications from York University, a Google Career Certificate in Digital Marketing and E-Commerce, and 7 years working in retail, not only do I have a strong foundation in communication, research, and analytical skills, but I also have many strong client-facing skills like customer service and relationship building. I am gaining both theoretical and practical industry experience at Humber Polytechnic on topics such as account management, ad strategy, creative campaign development, and brief writing. What sets me apart from other aspiring Account Managers? I would say my ability to motivate the people around me. I am a people person, and I do everything I can to boost the morale of the people I work with. Agencies are collaborative workplaces from top to bottom, and even on the most difficult days, I will show up with a positive attitude ready to do what I can to help the team function as effectively as possible to deliver results to every client. In light of this, I am ready to take the next step in my journey into advertising with a full-time position in an agency setting. |
