" An out-of-the benchmark thinker"About myself.Hi I’m Tasha! I am an aspiring Account Manager with a background in Project Management and Finance that is passionate about understanding the human insight behind the numbers. At the beginning of my academic and professional career I researched financial markets, social trends and developed my critical thinking skills. Although, I often found I was analyzing phenomena from a distance rather than understanding the human experience. This all changed once I began working in Technology and Operations (T&O) at RBC.
During my first two internships at RBC I worked in the Project Management Office where I ran skill building campaigns, managed timelines and analyzed campaign data to assist in building a strategy for employee learning. This experience then led me to my time in the Amplify program where I acted as the account manager for a team of developers and data scientists who sought to build an innovative digital product. During this experience I realized my passion for deeply understanding a human problem through question asking and coming up with a creative solution. Taking along some valuable design thinking skills, I decided to leave RBC and pursue a career where the output is something I’m truly passionate about: art. Since then, I’ve been honing my skills in the Advertising Account Management program at Humber, where I’ve been asking too many questions, crafting creative strategies and pitching to clients. |
