I am highly passionate and enthusiastic about advertising, event management and the entertainment industry. I believe that life is driven by inspiration. I have two of them, the first being the city that I come from, Mumbai - A city that doesn't stop or sleep and makes you move at its pace. Second being - Matthew Mcconaughey's Oscar speech "That's who I chase" which has stuck with me and taught me to be a dream chaser and a go-getter.
What fascinates me about the advertising world?
My first exposure to the P&G campaign was when I was 16, and I was fascinated by how advertising has the power to help people break stereotypes and change their perspectives. I knew right away that I wanted to pursue advertising. Although I am still learning about advertising, the power of advertising will never fully sink in and I will never stop being amazed by it.
Favourite advertisement and why?
WaterisLIFE, "Kenya Bucket List”
In my undergrad, I came across a DDB campaign for WaterisLIFE titled "Kenya Bucket List”. Beautifully executed and simple, the ad had a very powerful message. The campaign aims to bring attention to the millions of African children. A very emotional ad drew the audience's attention and was well received.
