About meI'm passionate about advertising, pop culture, social media, and connecting with people. I consider myself a creative person who thrives in energetic environments and continues to find opportunities to learn and develop new skills along the way. At Humber, I've worked on mock campaigns for Tinder, Peloton, Article Furniture, Proper Cannabis, Sephora and many more. Working on these campaigns has taught me that I love engaging in creative thinking while simultaneously solving business needs.
What fascinates me about the advertising world? What fascinates me about the advertising world is the underlying concept that advertisements are meant to create relationships with real people who have needs and desires versus just having to sell a product or service. With that being said, advertising is art in every sense possible; it's constantly evolving and changing as the world and humans progress.
Favourite advertisement and why?Bottega Veneta - The Invisible Store
My favourite advertisement is Bottega Veneta's "The Invisible Store" by Publicis Italy. Bottega Veneta is a high-fashion brand whose designs and branding remain very minimal. In July 2021, Bottega opened a pop store that gave off the illusion of being invisible. They also deleted all social media profiles during this campaign to further emphasize their message of being "unknown". This campaign fascinates me because it breaks all conventions. It rebels against the concepts of loud and overbearing labeling that we are used to seeing, especially with fashion advertising. |
